Realization of Verbs in Ambon Malay

This study analyzed realization of verbs in Ambon Malay by using the theory morphological typology. research was conducted descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected through questionnaire and elicitation techniques. Questionnaire shared to 30 respondents, while interview done with 6 informants. two techniques three main instruments; guidelines, recording equipment, writing equipment. An interactive model analysis used analyze data. found this 200 Malay. Only a small number these are inflected four verb-formation affixes which {meN-}, {baR-}, {taR-}, {baku-}. These only attached current verbs. Whilst, most realized without affixes. typical structure reflects that there must be morpheme deletion prefix {di-}, suffixes {-i}, circumfixes {di-kan}, {di-i}, {meN-kan}, {meN-i}, {memper-kan}, {memper-i} Thus is categorized as semi-isolating language.
